Register for Red Cross Life Saving Courses in August

The core mission of the American Red Cross is to alleviate suffering.  One of the ways the Red Cross does that is by training people how to respond to emergency situations and the steps to take to help people.  Over the years, the Red Cross has adapted their training to better suit the consumers’ needs.  There is training available online, in classrooms, or blended between online and classroom time.

There is a wide range of classes available here in southern Nevada.  In August, there are Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED courses available, and also a Wilderness & Remote First Aid course as well as Cat & Dog First Aid.  The Wilderness & Remote First Aid class is a two-day course starting on August 15.  Cat & Dog First Aid is on August 22.

To register for a class or find a class in your area, call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcross.org/takeaclass.  Those interested must register before attending the class.
