American goods are known to be among the highest quality products in world. This is made possible by the hard work and high standards set by the workers in American factories and construction sites. The same standards must be applied towards keeping those workers safe while they are on the job.
The American Red Cross has partnered with Summit Training Source, which is an OSHA approved provider. Together, they are offering a 10 hour and 30 hour OSHA training program for workers in general industry and the construction industry.
The 10 hour program offers a broad overview of the role OSHA plays in the workplace safety. The 30 hour program is for supervisors and offers a more in-depth coverage of worker’s rights and hazard recognition, abatement and prevention. Refresher courses are also available for workers in the construction industry.
Participants that successfully pass a course will receive an “OSHA Card.” Often times, these certifications are required for certain work sites, insurance, and job bids. Volume discounts are available for training 5 people or more. Enroll in a program by visiting this website and select the one that is right for you and your team.
