In a world where warfare and civil strife are a daily reality for millions, international humanitarian law provides a framework for protection for civilians and combatants alike.
Humanity in the Midst of War, a free introductory course, will provide an overview of the body of rules and principles that seek to limit the conduct of war and protect the victims of armed conflict, and the unique role of the Red Cross on behalf of victims of war. Through hands-on activities and thought-provoking discussions participants will explore the powerful and fundamental concept of human dignity in war.
