Red Cross “Disaster Institute” Prepares Volunteers for Response Jan. 17 – 28

The Southern Nevada Chapter is gearing up for our massive “Ready to Respond” Disaster Institute next week to train volunteers on how to respond to local disasters.

A variety of classes will be offered, and training can make volunteers eligible to not only respond on a local level, but possibly on a national level as well.

People who are already Red Cross volunteers can sign up on Red Cross Volunteer Connection here. If you’re not currently a Red Cross volunteer, you can start the process by going to redcross.org/southernnevada and selecting the Volunteer tab.
