The Red Cross was one of the organizations that was honored today at the County Commissioners’ meeting for work on the Carpenter 1 fire.
Red Cross Chapter CEO Scott Emerson spoke about the incredible partnerships we share with local organizations to enable us to respond to disasters of all sizes.
The Proclamation read in part;
“…an extraordinary amount of hard work, dedication, and cooperation on the part of firefighters, citizen volunteerism and personnel from many public agencies, nonprofit organizations and local businesses resulted in successful containment of this fire…
“…recognize and thank The American Red Cross Southern Nevada Chapter for protecting the lives and property of our residents and providing an invaluable service to our community.”
