Red Cross Responds…

Red Cross volunteers responded swiftly on the night of Thursday, May 3 to a 16 unit apartment fire. When volunteers arrived flames were still shooting 15 feet in the air while residents looked on.

Emotional Care volunteers, Casework volunteers, and Damage Assessment volunteers worked seamlessly to comfort and care for the residents impacted. 39 people were displaced that night, and of those, 25 people lost their homes.

The American Red Cross of Southern Nevada responds to a home fire every 30 hours.  To help us care for these, your neighbors, you can contact Brooke at 702-369-3674 to make a donation.
